Today I was an attendee on a webinar Sponsored by Dennis Duroff a well known business coach who specializes in working with small to medium sized builders and remodelers.  The topic of the webinar was “High Performance Purchasing” After the session I thought “what a value” I invested an hour’s time.  I did not have to pay in dollars for what I just heard and learned. Then the thought occurred to me is that one of the lessons I have learned in previous challenging markets is that as a company we cannot let the market dictate our attitude and our desire to learn and be a better company. It is even more important in a challenging market to consider any reasonable idea on how to improve ones business model. The market has changed and so must we; as builders and remodelers.  Today’s idea on how to improve ones system could be applied to any small to medium sized business but particularly my industry fellow builders remodelers.
